The Secretary of the Society has received the following notification from the Somerset Constabulary.
Dear Secretary
This notice is being sent to all sporting clubs and voluntary associations in Somerset.
From March 23rd 2020 for an initial period of three weeks and in accordance with any extensions to this period as shall from time to time be declared by the Government all participatory sports and pastimes are banned except between persons residing in a common household.
No person may leave their home expect for essential purposes and this excludes the playing of <insert sport here> Heads and Tails in any public place.
We hope you will ensure that all your members follow this advice which will save lives and protect the NHS.

This means that Heads and Tails is now illegal, except between members of the same household in private.
These regulations do not cover cyber-Heads and Tails though members are warned to beware of any financial commitments on sites which are not overseen by the Heads and Tails Confederation.
